Protective Cage for GoPro MAX2

I am just really loving this GoPro case! I recently got a GoPro max 2 and I am super happy to have a nice protective case on the GoPro! It came with a nice battery door also that makes so that I can charge it without the door hanging open. It is super easy to install the GoPro in the case. It just slides down and the latch locks it in place. Very functional case and has a mount for a stick on the bottom or the flip out mounts for the other style of mount. Very durable and I highly recommend this product!

I like the high quality material and fabrication. The red lever gives it unique charm in addition to being useful. The case is necessary for protection in various scenarios, but obviously, it cannot protect every feature all the time. With that, it's much stronger with the case than without, so I plan to use it with the case whenever it is exposed such as mounted on the outside of a moving vehicle.

I had an accident on my GoPro Max 2 the day after I received it. I had placed it on the ground without a tripod and a tennis ball bumped it slightly and it tipped over and scratched the lens. It happened on both lenses and I needed to replace them.Now, it was not a damage to the main body but accidents can happen in an instant so I wanted a cage. I used an underwater cage which is protective but it fogged up a little, though not an issue I don't mind trying other alternatives.This is a solidly built cage for my GoPro Max 2. The design of the cage is really nice, all buttons and slots are accessible and it comes with a mount option for light or audio, which I want to use for the power bank.The lens cover fits, but I keep the lens guard on all the time so it does not fit mine. The lens cover is not the best quality one, though it is better than nothing. The battery port with the charging slot really does make charging easier while recording.While trying to close and open the cage I noticed I had to put some strength behind it, so long as it doesn't affect the GoPro I don't mind. My biggest problem though is the mount system, it doesn't stay open, it shuts itself naturally. Which means to use that mount on a fence cage, I have to individually hold them open and then align the fence mount properly and then secure it. I found it to be very uncomfortable to mount and I worry it might slip and fall off my hand, especially when others are waiting and I am in a rush to get the games started.Other than that, this is a solid protective case, with useful accessories. I removed 2 stars solely because of the mount.

Main reason for ordering this?To protect my new GoPro Max 2 camera. GoPro’s are natively tough, but I wanted to add an extra layer of protection.How does it work?You just unlatch the cage and slide the Max 2 camera in. Bear in mind, this is only for the Max 2, not the original Max.How is the quality?This is highly crafted aluminum which you can feel it will protect your camera. I read from other reviewers that there is a little slop with the camera in this case. I plan to just add a little foam rubber on the edges to keep it from bouncing around.What were the results?I am really glad I got it. I know that it will aid with the longevity of my camera. Especially while using it when riding my quad or snowboarding. I highly recommend it!!

At last someone has produced a metal. Protective case for my MAX 2 camera. It fits perfectly, with spaces to access the two buttons and the battery door. the mounting fingers of the camera are not accessible but are replaced by sturdy metal fingers and a 1/4” screw hole on the base of the case. This case also adds two cold shoe mounts, one on the top of the case and one on the side opposite the battery door. The case is lightweight aluminum allow and seems quite robust and able to provide significant protection for the camera, especially at the corners. Putting the camera in the case is a breeze, just use a thumb to slide the catch and the top flips open making it easy to simply slide the camera in place.The inclusion of two lens covers, a three finger mount and a replacement pass through door is. A bonus, parti cularlythe pass through door which replaces the GoPro brand pass-through door that has a protrusion that prevents it from fitting in the case,I am really pleased with this case and the included extras, all of which are well made and work perfectly.door
