I am surprised as how well made this windshield mount is. It’s pretty heavy duty. It’s made of metal so I expect that it will last a lifetime. The clip has some pretty thick rubber pads on both sides to help protect the glass, not to mention that they made sure there are not sharp points that could accidentally scratch the surface. It has everything that I needed to mount my GoPro. I actually didn’t want this to mount on a motorcycle windshield, I needed a mount that would allow me to attach it to the window of my puppy playpen so that I could get some good shots of my pups while playing. I had tried different types of mounts, but I needed something to keep my camera away from mischievous puppies and their sharp teeth. When I saw this mount, I knew it was exactly what I needed, and I was not wrong. It works like a charm! It also works for my Insta360 too, just FYI. I’m very happy with the ease of use, build quality and the addition of a new mounting option for my cameras.
