4" Suction Cup Mount with Magic Arm

The suction is top tier and the multi joint arm allows me to adjust my camera JUST how I like it. I used this for a selfie gym photo shoot. I had this suctioned vertically to the mirror with my Canon RP/50mm lense/flash trigger mounted to it. It worked PERFECTLY.

The build quality of this mount is above average with a suction cup that's above average in holding in place and securing. The mount works really well with my Acura RDX's windshield being that it weighs just the right balance of quality vs sturdiness. Super easy to install and it secures to the windshield well.Was able to secure my Osmos Pocket 3 to it with the standard sized tripod mounting screw and hold it in place quite well. I have it mounted upside down to clear the windshield and it actually works quite well.The larger suction cup on this mount compared to competitors makes this an exceptional value to me and would definitely encourage you all to check it out.

Just to be clear, I'm giving 5 stars based entirely on the suction cup mount and magic arm. As far as I'm concerned, the phone mount just isn't even in the kit. Trust me, just plan to buy/use a different phone mount.The suction cup mount itself is exceptional. The suction cup forms a really strong seal when it's pumped. The aluminum body is rock solid and has a few mounting points available, including some with holes for ARRI locating pins, so you can ensure anything mounted there won't come loose by accident.The pump is also really good for tightening it down. It only takes a few pumps to reach sufficient negative pressure, which you can see because the line on the pump won't be visible anymore. I have another suction cup similar to this one, but with a larger base, and it takes much longer with many more pumps to reach the same security.I'm also pretty happy with the double ball joint arm. I'm not entirely sure that it's all-metal, but I think it is. Either way, it's very sturdy and well-built. It's easy enough to loosen and tighten with the knob on the side, though I admit I would like to have just a little more room for fingers to grip.Basically, these two parts are nearly perfect and I have no reservations about recommending them to anybody that wants a mount like this.Then we get to the phone clamp. Sorry, it's just cheap plastic junk. You can lift the spring-loaded clamp and immediately hear and feel the sound of the spring threatening to break. I've seen this same phone clamp appear in lots of kits, so you know it was just a filler item made en masse and sold to a bunch of brands to stuff into a box. You can probably get away with using it a few times, but believe me, you'll be much happier throwing away this clamp and immediately buying a good one to replace it.So the price on this kit is $31.49 as I write this, and I will say that it's a bit expensive for what it is; but it's also one of the best versions of a suction cup mount I've seen. I think it's worth the price if you want to get a good mount, but in fairness, you could probably find something very close for a bit less.

This actually has really good suction, though the places you can use it on is limited. My only disappointment is the phone holder will not take my S23 Ultra phone. It should take a normal phone. It easily attaches to my desk.
